I love you, Gut Feelings, but this meal was a disaster from concept to execution. Obviously it was never going to look like the photo – the cilantro just wouldn't survive the cooking process – but the most unforgivable difference was the complete absence of curry sauce. Whatever sauce or seasoning went into this was so minimal, it didn't actually register. The combo of squash and red pepper was unpleasantly sweet, while the combo of squash and broccoli was just mushy. This really needed something like tamari-marinated tempeh for the texture, salt, and to make the meal more filling. Although this meal includes nuts, the biggest crunch we encountered came from uncooked rice (my husband nearly hurt a tooth). All in all, super disappointing.
